April 26
The third and last exam for the course will be Friday April 30
at classtime. It will cover the last three homework assignments
(Lecture Notes, Chapters 6 and 7).
There will be no subsequent lectures and no meeting during the
final exam period.
April 5
I must leave town on Weds. afternoon, and I will return Thursday
afternoon. For this reason, I will be unable to answer questions
in person about the homework assignment that is due Weds. evening.
You are welcome to meet with Mr. Choubey on Weds. during his office
hours, or you can send me email, which I will try to answer as quickly
as possible.
22 February
Exam 1 is Weds. February 24, classtime. It is closed book and will
be based on all the material covered so far in lecture and in the
homework assignments.
22 January
Because of a death in the family, I must attend a funeral on Monday morning,
January 24. So, there is no lecture that day --- sorry. We will next meet
on Wednesday, January 26.
In the meantime, please read Chapter 1 and Chapter 2 (up to Section 2.2)
of the lecture notes. I have posted the next exercise set for you to
study. At Wednesday's class, I'll demo the software you'll use to
do the exercise set.
11 January
The first lecture is Friday, January 15.
There is no class on
Monday, January 18, which is a University holiday.
On Wednesday, January 20, I will be on an airplane over the ocean,
so there is no lecture that day.
We commence the usual MWF schedule
on Friday, January 22.
The first homework exercise set is due at classtime on Friday, January 22.
