About me

I'm from a small town called Erode in the southern part of India. I'm not an native English speaker and my mother tongue is Tamil. Most of my schooling and undergraduation was at Erode.

I spend my leisure time reading, making photograph or enjoying seeing the wonderful work of other photographers. I started photography couple of years back and trying to gradually imporve my photography skills. You may find some interesting pictures in my flickr page. Here is an article I wrote for my school alumni newsletter about making better pictures.

I'm really happy that I picked photography. Dorothea Lange once said, "The camera is an instrument that teaches people how to see without a camera." It defnitely has changed the way I see things around, it has made huge impact on my everyday life which was once mundane started to be exiting with each Sunset and Sunset, the expression made by people especially kids, and other simple things that makes life beautiful.

My interest for reading came in pretty late than what most people do, but its better late than never. I soon realized I do enjoy reading, here is a list of books I have read over the last few years.
