Most of my recent scholarly activity has
involved the preparation of a textbook, Algorithms: A Top-Down Approach. My
current research interests include real-time scheduling
theory and self-stabilizing systems. In the past, I've
also done research on Petri nets and computational complexity.
Please see my resume for a complete list of
my publications.
I've been one of the organizers of the KSU High School Programming Contest since its inception in 1992. I'm currently the chair of my department's undergraduate studies committee. Away from work, I'm heavily involved with the Manhattan Church of Christ. As a part of my church work, I'm a team trainer for Let's Start Talking, and I'm the faculty adviser for Cats for Christ. In addition, I've been singing with the Flint Hills Masterworks Chorale, which is organized by Manhattan Christian College. |
