State of Kuwait, located on the northern part of the gulf in the middle east. A constitutional monarchy which experiences one of the best democracies amongst other nations in the region. Our native language is Arabic, but English is widely used in business, education and scientific activities. Kuwait has a population of about 3,000,000 of which 60% are non-kuwaiti residents from more than 100 countries around the world.

Kuwait's economy largely depends on oil industries. There are number of huge government owned companies which operate in this field. Some of these include Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) and Kuwait Petroleum International (Q8). Other activites in Kuwait's economy mostly focus on Real Estate (Tamdeen), Stock Exchange (KSE), Ship Constructions and Banking (NBK).

There are three airline companies in Kuwait. The first and oldest is Kuwait Airways Corportation which is a government owned company. KAC is expected to be privatized based on a bill passed in the National Assembly. The second company is Jazeera airways which is a low cost airline. The third and the newest is Wataniya Airways.
